In response to the construction task of modular space stations, the space-to-space communication System between spacecrafts supporting complex spacecraft in orbit assembly and construction tasks were sorted out, and an integrated system solution was proposed. The same frequency code division and multiple redundancy technologies were adopted, and channel autonomous diagnosis and automatic switching strategies were designed to solve the problem of bidirectional reliable transmission of relative measurement and control data between spacecrafts for complex tasks, successfully applied to rendezvous docking and transposition tasks. Support forward, backward, and radial automatic rendezvous and docking tasks for space station engineering, support manual teleoperation rendezvous and docking tasks, support module transposition tasks. The design of the space-to-space communication system proposed in the article has been verified by the space station engineering. It has the advantages of long communication distance, high transmission bandwidth, strong anti-interference ability, and support for complex rendezvous, docking, and assembly construction tasks.
